2. Overview
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website and respond to your enquiries. This website uses no tracking, no analytics, no advertising cookies and no social media plugins. Fonts and all other resources are served from our own web server; no data is transmitted to third parties when you visit a page.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. When you access the website, technically necessary data is processed in server log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- requested page or file
- browser type and version, operating system
- referrer URL (previously visited page)
- amount of data transferred and HTTP status code
Purpose: delivering the website, ensuring security and stability, defending against attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in a secure and functional website.
Retention: log files are deleted after no more than 7 days unless longer retention is required to investigate a specific security incident.
4. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (e.g. name, company, email address, phone number, content of your enquiry) to handle your request and any follow-up questions.
The contact form on the home page merely opens your own email program with a prepared message (mailto link). The website itself does not store or transmit any data; the message is sent via your email provider.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to concluding or performing a contract; otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Retention: we delete enquiries once they have been fully dealt with. If a contract is concluded or the correspondence is business-related, statutory retention periods apply (up to 6 or 10 years under German commercial and tax law).
5. Cookies and storage on your device
This website does not use cookies and does not access information on your device beyond what is strictly necessary to display the page (§ 25 (2) TDDDG). A consent banner is therefore not required.
6. External links
This website contains links to external services (e.g. LinkedIn). Data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you click such a link. That provider is responsible for any processing on its side.
7. Use of AI tools in projects
In individual assignments, and only by agreement with the client, we use AI-based tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT), for instance for drafting texts, summaries or analyses. The following applies:
- Personal data is only entered into AI systems after explicit agreement with the client.
- We prefer business or enterprise plans under which input data is not used for model training.
- AI output is always reviewed by a human before it becomes the basis for a decision.
This website itself does not use any AI services and does not transmit visitor data to AI providers.
8. No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, takes place.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), unless retention obligations apply
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): where we process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
To exercise your rights, an informal message to info@egatti.de is sufficient.
10. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:

11. Obligation to provide data
You are under no legal or contractual obligation to provide personal data. Without your contact details, however, we cannot answer your enquiry.
12. Data security
This website is delivered exclusively via encrypted HTTPS (TLS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access.
